博多に暮らす兄夫婦が送ってくれた「五口福」の明太子、初めて頂きました。一つ一つ味が違っていて、その時の気分でクリームチーズと一緒にクラッカーに載せたり、豆腐に載せてみたり、今夜は「柚子明太子」を大根と和えてみました。私にとってはお姉さんに当たるお兄さんのお嫁さん、裕美子さん。今回の平戸への旅の途中、４年振りに会うことができました。
二人の女の子を育てながら、会う度に綺麗になる素敵な姉です。

祖父と祖母のお墓参りに、長崎県の平戸へ行ってきました。海に囲まれた美しい島でした。
日本に初めてキリスト教を伝えたフランシスコ・ザビエルが3度に渡って布教に訪れた地でもあります。
My mother was raised here in Hirado until she was 16 years old.She had an exotic looks like Spanish people.Her father was born here,and also had an exotic feature.I haven't met my grandpa,but I have his photograph which closely resembles my mom.This is the statue of Francis Xavier born in Spain,and co-founder of the Society of Jesus.This church was built in 1931,and this statue was built in 1971 by people of Hirado.

和食を好きになったきっかけが、奥津さんの料理でした。2005年位まで、中目黒のレストラン「Higashiyama-Tokyo」のシェフをされていて、当時は多い時で週に3回程、仕事仲間やマネージャーを連れて伺っていました。その度にお任せのメニューを変えて、旬の味を活かした美味しい和食を出してくれたのが奥津さん。中でもジョー・サンプルとマーカス・ミラーは彼の料理の大ファンでした。2006年に福岡に移り「手島邸」をオープン。人気店となり、場所を先月末に中洲に移し、「中島町倶楽部」として再開したばかりのタイミングで伺いました。
He is a brilliant chef just opened his new bar&restaurant"Nakashimacho-Club" in Fukuoka city.Because of his excellent cuisine,I've started to love Japanese food.The restaurant is by the Hakata river.

表参道でワインと美味しい食事を楽しめるお店を探していたら、一度訪れてみて下さい。目黒川沿いの和食屋さんKAN、銀座KAN、並木橋なかむら系列の新店舗です。こちらはRose Budの恵美ちゃんと寄った日の前菜。取締役でもあり敬愛する料理人、野元大輔さんが盛り付けサーブしてくれました。

私服を選ぶ時にお世話になっている「ローズバッド」の田仲恵美ちゃん。似合わない服は、似合わないとはっきり言ってくれるので、2000年位から恵美ちゃんを通して、洋服を買うようになりました。今日のパーティーではジプシーキングスがゲストでしたが、余りの人の多さにライブは観ずに失礼しました。代わりに彼女を連れて夕食に寄った「キッチンなかむら」、明日ご紹介しますね。

お隣の奥様から頂いたブドウです。いつもお土産やお裾分けなど、最高に美味しいものばかり頂き、感謝しています。今回初めて食べた「シナノスマイル」95年に品種登録された粒の大きな赤ブドウ。糖度が19度以上あるのも頷ける、ジューシーで甘い、とても美味しいブドウでした。種がなく食べ易かったです。
This is the grape called"Shinano Smile".It was really sweet and juicy taste.Enjoyed the sweet grape with my favorite Sauvignon Blanc,INVIVO.
