久しぶりに川島ふじ子さんとお会いしました。事務所の元常務が、テアトルエコー時代のふじ子さんのマネージャーだった事もあり、彼女が主宰するフラダンスの発表会に誘われたのが始まりです。現在「プアラニ・フラ・スタジオ」主宰、よみうりカルチャーでもフラダンスとハワイ語の講師を務める人気の先生。フラダンスの発表会で生徒さん達が身に付ける衣装、髪飾り、アクセサリー全て、毎回自らハワイに行き、ふじ子さんがデザインしたオリジナルを使用。バックに映っている写真は先日行われた発表会の為に、ハワイから送られてきたオリジナルの髪飾り。フラダンスに興味のある方がいらしたら、近々のレッスンは「大人のハワイ楽入門」第３回「ハワイアンフラ」でも講師を担当されます。(http://www.ync.ne.jp/yokohama/kouza/201310-08870050.htm)

メンデルスゾーンのピアノ協奏曲第一番作品２５の楽譜です。右側にあるのが１３歳当時練習していた譜面で、左側が最近新しく買った譜面。ニューヨークのコンチェルトコンクールで初めて優勝した時の課題曲でした。音楽の世界で生きていきたいと、強く願うようになったきっかけの曲でもあります。今月リリース予定の「１０００Winds」は亡くなった音楽家達に捧げて作りましたが、メンデルスゾーンもその内の一人。奇しくも11／2が命日のスバと同じ３８歳でこの世を去っています。
Felix Mendelssohn was a German composer,pianist,conductor of the early Romantic period.
He began taking piano lessons from his mother when he was six,and probably made his first public concert appearance at age of 9.He wrote his first published work, by the time he was 13.
I first played his piano concerto when I was 13 years old,and fell in love with his beautiful melody. He died in Leipzig on 4 November, when he was only 38. (Just the same age as Suba that I wrote about on 2 November's blog.)

今朝起き抜けに、ふとスバの命日が気になり調べてみたら、１９９９年の今日亡くなっていました。今月リリース予定の「１０００Winds」を初めて作ったきっかけが、実は亡くなったスバに捧げる為でした。この写真にも映っている、亡くなる寸前に作り上げた彼の代表作「サンパウロコンフェッションズ」を聴き感動。いつかスバにプロデュースしてもらう事が夢でした。スタジオが火事になり、当時ベベウ・ジルベルトとの作品を制作中で、その制作途中の作品を猛火の中取りに行き、３８歳の若さで亡くなりました。その後、命を懸けて守った作品「タントテンポ」はブラジリアンのアルバムの中でベストセールスを記録、現在に至っています。

After Suba's death,a non-profit organization The Suba institute was founded in his honor in Brazil in 2000.Since 2008,the Novi Sad Exit festival world music stage was named Suba Stage.In January 2012,it was announced that the Novi Sad Liman park would get a Mitar Subotic place in honor of the musician.In 2012,the Suba Connection band,a supergroup consisting of musicians Suba had worked with during his career in Brazil,fronted by Joao Parahyba,performed at the Exit festival Suba stage.

今夜は冷凍のピザ生地を使って、即席ピザの夕食です。秋鮭を焼いて骨を取り身を解し、ラグーピザソースを塗った生地に載せ、チーズ、ミニトマトをトッピング。トースターで18分程焼いて、バジルの葉を載せ出来上がり。ソービニヨンブランを少し入れたシシリアのレモネードと一緒に頂きます！
Directions:
Brush the crust with olive oil and spread the Ragu pizza sauce over the crust.Sprinkle sliced Autumn salmon,cheese,mini tomatoes.Place in oven toaster for about 18minutes.Sprinkle basil over the top and enjoy!

今日で10月も終わり、2013年も残すところあと二ヶ月ですね。大分ハロウインが浸透してきた日本、スーパーでもハロウインスイーツを沢山見かけるようになりました。今夜はかぼちゃと人参を使ってハロウイン風ガスパチョを作ってみました。

ナレーターの友人磯部弘さんが、我が家に1年ぶりに来てくれました。今回は、今年走ったサロマ湖100キロマラソンと、大阪マラソンのメダルと共にパチリ！身体を動かす事になったきっかけが、学生時代に憧れていたアーティストが、ブクブクに太ってしまったのを見てびっくり、自分はこういう風にはなりたくない！と思い、身体を鍛ええるようになったということは、今日初めて聞きました。私自身も心掛けていることですが、良い身体から良い声が出る、という事は常に思っていますが、ストイックで前向きな磯部さんの姿には頭が下がります。
現在TBS「THE世界遺産100」(毎週日曜18：00ー18：30)を始め、BS11「世界豪華客船紀行」(毎週木曜20：00ー21：00)BS日テレ「世界発！コロンブスの台所」(毎週木曜21：00ー22：00)BS-TBS「SONG TO SOUL」(毎週水曜23：00ー24：00)などでナレーションを担当されています。
This is my friend,Hiroshi Isobe.He is a narrator,and an actor,and an athlete!He participated in long distance races this year including Saloma lake 100kilos marathon,Osaka marathon,Kyoto marathon etc.He wears this year's marathon commemorative medals.

こちらも曾祖母の形見の品、着物用の刺繍を渋谷LOFTで額装してもらったものです。あと三点、刺繍用のアップリケのようなものが見つかったのですが、それも同じ額に入れてもらい、リビングに飾っています。また後日ご紹介しますね。

最近また観るようになった海外ミステリードラマ「クリミナル・マインド/FBI vs.異常犯罪」。ギデオンからロッシに役柄が代わった辺りであまり観なくなったのですが、捜査官一人一人にヒストリーがあり、それが判ってくると面白さも倍増。現在シーズン４をBS258 Dlifeで放映中、次回は来週木曜日ハロウイーンの深夜12:00スタートです。
Criminal Minds is an American police procedural television program that premiered in 2005.The series follows a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavior Analysis Unit(BAU)based in Quantico,Verginia.Casting has been changing with the coming and going of multiple characters.In season three,Gideon departs after episode two and is replaced later by David Rossi(Joe Mantegna ),a former FBI agent and the author who returns to the BAU.My favorite character is Penelope Garcia(Kirsten Vangsness),the team's Technical Analyst.She often dress up with colorful outfit.A charming character in BAU team.

高い天井の隙間を埋める為に飾った額です。こちらも子供の頃歌っていた「Sing a Song Book」から切り取って額装したもの。雑貨屋さんで見つけた額に、入れてみました。

こちらは階段の脇にセットで飾っている帯を額装したものの一つ。曾祖母の形見で、色が綺麗なのでテーブルセンターとして飾っていたもの。少し汚れてきたのでクリーニング後、LOFTの額装コーナーにお願いして作ってみました。
