Damages is an American legal thriller TV series. The plot revolves around the brilliant, ruthless lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and her protege, recent law school graduate Ellen Persons (Rose Byrne). The first two season center around the law firm Hewes & Associates located in NY. Later seasons, center more on Patty and Ellen's relationships. Mary Rose Byrne is an Australian actress. By playing Ellen Parsons, she earned her two Golden Globe and two Emmy nominations.
