ビルボードライブ東京で行われたローラ・マブーラのファーストステージ観に行ってきました。初めてデビューアルバム『Sing to the moon』を聴いた時は、どこかKimbraを彷彿とさせる、個人的に好きなサウンドで、是非ライブに足を運びたかったアーティストでした。実際にライブに触れた感想は、ダウントゥーアースな自然体の女性で、高いヒールを脱ぎ捨てて、素足で唄う姿は少女のよう。暖かいシンプルなステージで、歌に心を感じるアーティストでした。
Laura Mvula is a British singer-songwriter from Birmingham.I love her debut album,Sing to the Moon,produced by Steve Brown.The stage was really soothing and musical with a classical flavor.Bass,Cello,Violin,herp,and Drums were on the stage,and she was playing keybords.Laura was wearing an orange silk blouse and black pants with
green high-heels.But she was more charming when she took off her shoes.
