初めて読んだオーストリアミステリーです。ネレ・ノイハウスの作品をこの夏読み、刑事オリバーとピアのキャラクターの魅力は勿論、ドイツミステリーの面白さにも触れ、以前から気になっていたこの作品を読んでみました。毎回忘れないように、あらすじと感想を英語で左に映っているノートに書いています。10点満点で評価をつけていますが、今作は8点。ウイーンの若手女性弁護士エヴェリーンとライプツィヒの刑事ヴァルターが関わる二つの事件が交わった時に、ストーリーに命が吹き込まれます。個人的にも傷を抱えたエヴェリーンとヴァルターのキャラクターも魅力のひとつ。真夏のミステリータイムにいかがですか？
